Konstantin Severin is the founder and promoter of a new award-winning concept/movement on the contemporary art scene, Archetypal Expressionism.

He is originally from Baia de Arama, Mehedinti, Romania.

He is a visual artist, a member of the Ottawa Art Association, co-founder of the 3rd Paradigm International Art Group, and founder of the Archetypal Expressionism Group (www.archetypaexpressionism.com).

He is also a writer, a member of the Union of Romanian Writers and a journalist (he has worked for various Romanian publications, as well as for the BBC and Radio Free Europe), and one of the editors of the international cultural magazine Levure Litéraire, Paris.

In 1977 he graduated from the Technical University. Asachi", Iasi, Romania, and in 2015 - the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa, USA.

In 2016, he completed the “Power of Color” course at the KLC School of Design, London, UK.

His art is represented and promoted by Singulart, Paris, and the international auction house Lavacow, Bucharest.

He has published more than 800 articles, essays and interviews on cultural issues, art theory and criticism, as well as on other issues of Romanian and international interest.

Member of the jury of prestigious international art competitions. His concepts and works have been published by major international art and literary magazines such as Artdaily, World Literature Today, It's Liquid, Levure ltéraire, Trafika Europe, Empireuma, Contemporanul, Vatra, Arkitera, Glare Magazine, Cuadernos del Ateneo, Dance and Media Japan. , Poet, Pro Saeculum, etc.
