Karin Frenay is an artist who has lived with her family in Haarlem, the Netherlands, since 2000.

She says about herself:

"I am mostly self-taught, but have attended various trainings, workshops and courses with very talented artists over the last 30 years.

I have also attended various correspondence courses at the art academy in Zurich and Wetzikon (Switzerland). But I have taught myself for the most part.

My paintings are free interpretations of forests, landscapes, gardens and flowers. Nature helps us, among other things, to relax, get rid of everyday stress and recharge. My paintings are designed to bring this effect into your home."
