José Luis De la Barra is a contemporary Peruvian artist. He was born in Peru, where he graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Peru. His work has been exhibited in the USA and Peru. For several years he participated in the International Art Fair "Art Revolution Taipei" in Taiwan.

This is how he expresses himself about his work:

"My work is characterized by emotional imagery, personal representations and a warm, gentle and humble attitude.

The intentions of primary harmonization are used by me to navigate the contours of the figures, which are enriched by the intensity of color, which prevails over the factors of expression.

The bright color and harmonious contrasts simultaneously give it a mystical appearance, while maintaining a slightly fantastical, fresh and refreshing tone."
